Working With The Community

On May 5th 2011, Malaika Babies’ Home held an Open Day for religious representatives.

We are passionate about promoting fostering and adoption to the people of Kampala, and are hoping that working with local churches, mosques and other organisations will enable us to find new families for our children.

On May 5th 2011, Malaika Babies’ Home held an Open Day for religious representatives.

We are passionate about promoting fostering and adoption to the people of Kampala, and are hoping that working with local churches, mosques and other organisations will enable us to find new families for our children.

We were delighted to see so many people attend our Open Day, and hope that a good time was had by all. Guests got the opportunity to tour our Home with members of our Social Work team, to meet our children, chat to our Project Director Lucy Buck and view a presentation that focussed on issues surrounding adoption and fostering.

Representatives from Malaika Babies’ Home will be speaking to local congregations in the near future, and we welcome new partnerships with any organisation who might be interested in finding out more about the work that we do.
